Tony Zhong
Undergraduate StudentTony Zhong is a Junior majoring in Microbial Biology. He is working with Sun-Young Kim on the PROTECT project. His motivation for this work stems from his work as an EMT, where he witnessed the critical need for new solutions to combat serious respiratory infections. His research focuses on investigating microbial interactions within the lung microbiome to develop novel synbiotic therapies that address the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance.
